Christmas Decorating Made Easy: Tips to Transform Your Home This Holiday Season

“Small interior elements and touch can introduce a strong accent into your living space”

Now that winter and the holiday season are here let’s add up some interior elements to make your everyday life cozier and homier. You can have a strong accent and glitterization in the decoration or you may want a minimal white Christmas natural touch in your decoration! In any way, the below tips are significant in translating your holiday mood and feeling into the space. Remember there is a feel and psychological fact behind the interior design elements that shape people’s experience.

Bring more accent lighting to the space
I can’t emphasize more on importance of lighting accent in the interior of living space. Bright white ceiling light can convey the feeling of commercial and fast-paced areas like fast-food and 2-retail shops like 7-11 and vice versa!! Try to dim down or lower the brightness of the living space with some floor lamps or even single lamp single LED with 2700 kelvin or lower to give off a warm inviting glow

Invest on candles
I suggest them for their scent, warmth, and look. I would suggest picking the scented ones molded in bowl with three-wick, to be placed on the console table/coffee table/ mantle/Kitchen Island, and multiple Pillar candles on candle holder for the dining table. Among all aromas, natural essence like Vanilla, Eucalyptus, Mint, Lemon, Cocoa, a Fire tree, and Apple is the best scents, and Smoked wood, Pine Sandalwood which is a warm smell throughout the year! Roasted Pinecone: Pine, Sandalwood, & Vanilla.

Incorporate some texture:
Have wood or knot texture at different angle in your living and sleeping room. Have a basket with few warm colors faux fur or knit throws in it, so it gives you the idea of warmness in case you feel cold! You can have two in baskets, and one on the sofa and one or two on your accent chairs with some dark emerald, green cushions or mahogany/ burgundy any hue sit in in winter color wheel. When having cushions always play the texture/ plain and pattern juggling, when the upholstery is plain have on texture and one pattern cushion, probably different size. When the accent chair has some patterns have plain or plain with some texture cushions. Don’t one type all together.

Set the dining table all-day long
Whatever you taste is maximalist or minimalist you still love eating and drinking! Set your dining table with a cotton texture cloth, dinner and serving plates, wine glasses, set of cutleries with candles makes your dining absolutely inviting, emanates the thought of food being served and the joy of a meal to your family members and visitors, not only it adds character and extra charm but also makes everyone more content and chilled.

 Go natural:
Use greenery/ pines/ and use dry fruits like sliced Apple/ Orange/Cinnamon sticks and hang them with natural Jute twine string or ribbon to play earthy and sustainable. These elements can go from the entrance all the way to the bathrooms, remember the house is the combination of all these circulations around the house So don’t hesitate to place the garland and Christmas glitters on any perspective level. It is your creative moments of the year to shine! It incorporates the natural vibes around inviting and relaxing

Holiday books and magazine around!
Place some holiday books and magazines on your coffee table and your side tables in the living room to enrich the holiday vibes especially if you have guests, that will entertain them and show them how detailed design taste you have. You can always borrow from your local library brows through and return.

These little inexpensive effort will create a warm and relaxing accent to your holiday theme interior.
