Sara Namdarian, Principal and founder, established Space and Narratives Design Studio(S + N) in Vancouver, Canada. With over 16 years of international experience—including running a successful interior design firm in Malaysia and leading a joint venture partnership with the renowned Idea Workshop —she brings a powerhouse blend of design innovation, business leadership, and global project expertise. From high-end residences and boutique hotels to BMW showrooms, boutique Hotels, business parks, and cultural spaces, retails factory and many more, our work is driven by one core philosophy: design must embody meaningful solution and aesthetics in harmony with our Mother Nature—while remaining functional and memories timelessly.

Sara holds a Master of Architecture Science in AR in Architecture and a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture from Malaysia & UK. This strong academic foundation in design and architecture has shaped her holistic approach to spatial thinking, design research, and emerging technology integration in interior environments.

Now based in Vancouver and registered in North America, the founder continues to shape the design world not only through practice but also by teaching and mentoring through institutions like LaSalle College Vancouver and through leadership roles with IIDA and IDC, guiding young talent across North America.
